Two distinct components with different engineering requirements: wear protection (Cheek Plate) and safety overload protection (Toggle Plate)

Wear liners protecting the jaw crusher frame. Cheek plates (side liners) are mounted on both side walls of the crushing chamber. Subjected to abrasive sliding wear from material moving downward. High manganese steel work-hardens under the side-sliding pressure, forming a protective hardened layer on the frame-facing surface.
