Primary material for blow bars. High chromium cast iron delivers maximum wear resistance in low-to-medium impact crushing. The chromium carbides form a hard matrix (HRC 58-65) that resists abrasive wear from materials like limestone, gravel, and recycled concrete. Higher Cr content = better wear resistance but reduced impact tolerance.
